A 31-year-old man who police believe supplied the gun used in the Munich rampage shooting at a shopping center in July was arrested Tuesday, local media report.
A source from Bavaria’s criminal police office said the German man was arrested in the city of Marburg after a sting operation, according to broadcaster Deutsche Welle.
According to reports, the man sold a gun and 350 bullets to 18-year-old gunman Ali Sonboly, who killed nine people and injured dozens of others at Munich’s Olympia shopping center.
